But why would many young people get addicted a drug that is known to be this dangerous? Some of them may be ignorant of the dangers of the product on their health. Others may not even recognize that they have become addicted. There are a couple of tips you can observe to tell if someone is addicted to meth. Let’s look at a few of them.
Yellowish teeth
When people take meth excessively, their teeth begin to rot. This degeneration gives their teeth a yellowish color. The scene is usually very unpleasant and meth addicts could find it really difficult putting on a smile in public.
Skin sores that will just not heal
Skin sores is a prominent characteristic of meth addicts. These sores usually make the victim look rough and frightening, and they usually do not go away easily no matter how hard the individual tries to do away with them.
Other signs to watch out for are paranoia and severe weight loss. However, these are symptoms will appear for other conditions as well. If you notice paranoia and severe weight loss in a loved one, observe more for sores on their skin and for yellowish teeth. Should these other symptoms be present, meth addiction is very likely.
